Get Off Your Ass & Shoot!

Took the weekend to create a composite consisting of 18 panoramas. Exploring the space I inhabit with Esaias, how we move through it, utilize it & interact with it. Examining our space as a place to create, relax and connect.

Summer is here now and it seems like everything is in season! Over the weekend I decided to raid my frig & photograph some of the delicious fruits that I had on hand. I couldn’t stop there….so I raided the rest of my kitchen……Here are a couple selects from the weekend! Enjoy the fruit this summer!!!

Just got a letter of acceptance for the 59th Annual All Florida Juried Competition & Exhibition! Two of my works will be on display from June 23 to August 8! This juried show is sponsored by the Boca Raton Museum of Art every year. Out of 480 artists, I am one of the 80 that made it into the show!

A little exercise Esaias & I did on motion tracking. Esaias is well versed in motion tracking and placing in 3D objects in real space. With this doodle, he introduced me to the process. We setup a green screen with trackers and panned slightly around me while I sat on a stool.

I heard about the festival just in time!!! There were so many amazing orchids at this show! A lot that I have never heard of or seen and of course your old tried and true. I took my 5D with my 100mm L-macro, I had a blast photographing these unique flowers!

Working on Floating Point II with Esaias! With this version, we want to create essentially a moving landscape. Exploring the relationship between environments and those that inhabit them.
